Kanye West Celebrates Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson's Breakup on Instagram

Rest in Pete

With the dissolution of Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson's relationship, you'd think we'd never have to hear about Kanye West cyberbullying his ex's ex ever again, right? Think again — West has reignited his online beef with Davidson after taking a few months off.

Early Monday morning (August 8), West took to his Instagram account — the same one he got temporarily banned from back in March — to post a fake New York Times headline reading, "Skete Davidson Dead at Age 28." As of this writing, this is the only post shared to his account.

UPDATE (8/8, 1:50 p.m. ET): West has since deleted the post from Instagram, but screenshots of the post can still be found online.

UPDATE (8/9, 2:46 p.m. ET): Davidson is reportedly seeking trauma therapy due to West's online attacks.

In Ye's beautiful dark twisted fantasy, Kid Cudi was supposed to play at Davidson's funeral, but was "fearful of bottle throwers," according to the fake newspaper's fine print. Referencing Cudi's Rolling Loud performance that ended after the crowd kept throwing things at him, it seems as though West and Cudi haven't made up after Kanye cut ties due to his collaborator's friendship with Davidson.

Though he has dialled down his harassment of Davidson since the release of the music video for "Eazy,"  West has not been shy about his hostility towards Davidson, even going as far as threatening to "beat his ass" publicly. As his repeated intimidation of the comedian landed him his aforementioned 24-hour Instagram ban, it'll be interesting to see if the social media service takes action against the rapper once again.
