After debuting new material in Australia, New Zealand and Europe this summer, Hannah Gadsby is due to bring her new show Body of Work across the pond for a series of performances in North America — including a pair of stops in Canada.
The trek will begin on April 16 in Boston, with standup appearances scheduled throughout the US in the following months, including multi-night stays in Washington, DC, and New York City.
On June 13, Gadsby will perform Body of Work at Vancouver's Orpheum Theatre, which will lead her to a Toronto performance at Massey Hall on July 8. Gadsby will take a short break from touring over the summer after wrapping in Minneapolis, MN, on July 15, and will head back out on tour in Australia and New Zealand in August.
The new show is said to be a return to standup comedy for Gadsby, who famously announced her retirement from the genre with her 2018 breakout special Nanette.
As Deadline reports, Gadsby wrote the new material while "pondering what was next" during Australia's coronavirus lockdown. "That ponder is now a show," the comedian said of Body of Work.
Tickets go on sale Friday (November 19) at 10 a.m. local time here.
