The Kids in the Hall are returning with a new season for Prime Video, but rather than bask in the glow of their big comeback, Bruce McCulloch is striking out on his own with some live solo shows.
His solo show is called Tales of Bravery and Stupidity. He will perform at Toronto's Streetcar Crowsnest for three nights from May 5 to 7, before heading to New York to continue the performances.
UPDATE (4/21, 1:10 p.m. ET): The shows sold out so quickly that a fourth has been added for May 8 at 2 p.m. Tickets go on sale tomorrow (April 22).
A press release describes the show like this: "Using music, standup and storytelling, Bruce McCulloch takes us on a poetic flyover of his life with funny observations and humanistic yearnings, looking at the bravely stupid things he's done — and the things we all do — to make sense of our messy lives."
Tickets cost $55, while premium front-row seats (that come with a signed CD or book) are $75. Tickets are available here.
Just yesterday, the Kids in the Hall shared the trailer for their comeback season.
