Bob Saget's Final Filmed Appearance Is in a Desiigner Music Video

The late actor and comedian got up to some "BAKIN" before his January passing

Last December, Bob Saget shared an Instagram post of himself dressed like a chef, telling followers that he was "Having a blast shooting a rap video ... at an undisclosed spot in the Hollywood Hills." As it turns out, the visuals for Desiigner's "BAKIN" now mark one of the late actor and comedian's final on-screen appearances.

Featured artist DJ Whoo Kid told Rolling Stone that Saget was called to come cook after Willie Nelson was unable to commit to the role himself.

"We needed a chef for the video and I remember thinking, 'Who the fuck is gonna be the chef who can make it weird?'" Whoo Kid recalled. "Then immediately I thought 'Bob Saget!' Nobody on set believed me when I said he'd come until he actually drove up and rang the bell, like this was a Full House episode."

Of Saget's involvement, Whoo Kid remembered, "He shows up and parks his Lexus on the grass and comes in looking like a dad," adding, "He kept calling it a rap video; I don't even say 'rap' anymore ... You could tell he was old-school. He wouldn't even say 'twerk,' he would ask if there was going to be a lot of booty-shaking. But we didn't do that for him; I knew he's got a wife and everything, I told him all I wanted him to do was cook."

In the "BAKIN" video, which also features Snoop Dogg and adult actress Kendra Sunderland, Saget gets busy cooking bacon at the stove, flashing meat and stacks of money for the camera.

"Full House, Nick at Nite, Bob Saget used to rock me to sleep at night man," Desiigner told Rolling Stone. "It was a starstruck moment for me seeing him bumping to my music. After he passed away, it was different seeing that now that he's back with the universe. We want to turn this up for Bob, you could say this is a going home party for him."

Saget died January 9 at age 65. Earlier this month, his cause of death was determined to be blunt head trauma.

Saget will also appear in forthcoming comedy Killing Daniel, which completed shooting well before the "BAKIN" video in April of 2021.
