Zulu have announced their debut full-length album. The Los Angeles hardcore outfit will share A New Tomorrow on March 3 via Flatspot Records.

The self-produced A New Tomorrow follows last year's My People...Hold On / Our Day Will Come, which brought together Zulu's first two EPs.

On their debut LP, the band team with Soul Glo's Pierce Jordan, Truth Cult's Paris Roberts and Playytime's Obioma Ugonna.

Arriving alongside the announcement is new song "Fakin' Tha Funk (You Get Did)," a solid rebuke of Black cultural interlopers.

As vocalist Anaiah Lei explains in a statement, "Everyone wants to be Black, but nobody really wants to be Black. People take from our culture, use our language and surround themselves with people from the culture which in turn makes them believe they are a part of it. Those that will benefit from it when people in our community are looked down upon for being how they were born."

As previously reported, Zulu will perform in Vancouver this December on tour with OFF!, ahead of playing Toronto and Montreal in 2023 on tour with Show Me the Body, Jesus Piece, Scowl and TRiPPJONES.
