The Canadian Tourism Commission has unveiled a new video promoting our country, and to soundtrack the advertisement, they hired British Columbia retro rock act Yukon Blonde.
The clip is a two-minute compilation of amateur videos shot by Canadians across the country, most of which highlight the nation's natural beauty. These are soundtracked by a re-recording of "My Girl" from Yukon Blonde's Tiger Talk, as the band rework the lyrics to fit the patriotic theme. They sing lines in French, make references to mountains and stars, and replace the chorus with the lyric, "This is my home."
