William Basinski has announced plans to return to the road this fall on his first tour in two years, and a date in Canada has been included on the itinerary.
Basinski will perform at Vancouver's Deep Blue on September 24, marking the lone Canadian stop on his 13-date North American trek.
The tour begins September 11 with a special Ambient Church date at Riverside Church in New York, at which Basinski will perform The Disintegration Loops with the American Contemporary Music Ensemble in celebration of that effort's 20th anniversary.
Support at select shows will come from Faten Kanaan, while the itinerary also features festival stops at Basilica Soundscape, Treefort Music Festival and III Points. You can find the complete list of tour dates below.
Basinski released Lamentations and Hymns of Oblivion last year, while this year saw The Disintegration Loops explored in a documentary.
