The Weeknd's 'House of Balloons,' 'Thursday' and 'Echoes of Silence' Get Vinyl Treatment

Toronto-born international R&B superstar the Weeknd is gearing up to drop his latest album Beauty Behind the Madness on August 28 before embarking on a massive North American tour this fall. But in addition to the new material, fans will also finally be able to get their hands on vinyl copies of the crooner's first three albums.

As pointed out by The Vinyl FactoryHouse of Balloons, Thursday and Echoes of Silence were inconspicuously made available earlier this month via Republic Records. Amazon currently has the Canadian release date for all three albums listed as September 11.

Originally released as individual downloads online, House of Balloons, Thursday and Echoes of Silence were later compiled as a set titled Trilogy. The three-album collection was made available as a $200 limited edition six-LP set (with disappointingly pre-printed signatures).

While bootlegged versions of the freeleases have previously made the rounds on vinyl, the forthcoming versions mark the first Weeknd-endorsed copies of wax.
