The Weeknd Issuing 6-LP Box Set of 'Trilogy'

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Mar 12, 2013

The Weeknd (aka Abel Tesfaye) first delivered his Trilogy set as a trio of free mixtapes before dropping it as a tweaked-up three-CD package last fall, and the Toronto R&B singer is now offering up the song cycle in another medium. A six-LP vinyl box set will arrive on March 26.

The vinyl box is up for pre-order now on the artist's online shop and will set you back $199. It's an extra limited package, with only 500 being pressed up, and they will be hand numbered to authenticate this.

The package was designed by XO and will have House of Balloons, Thursday and Echoes of Silence housed in separate sleeves. You can see the pictures of the set over here.

While this marks the first official Weeknd release of 2013, Tesfaye hinted a new LP could drop sometime later this year.
