The Weather Station Signs to Paradise of Bachelors for 'Loyalty' LP

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Jan 14, 2015

Tamara Lindeman has been extremely active in the Toronto folk scene over the last few years, contributing to Bruce Peninsula and teaming up with the likes of Daniel Romano, Baby Eagle and Marine Dreams for a singles series.

Now it looks as if she'll be refocusing her efforts on the Weather Station, as the project has just inked a deal with North Carolina-based indie label Paradise of Bachelors.

Along with news of the signing, the label announced that Lindeman will be releasing her third LP as the Weather Station this spring.

Titled Loyalty, the new album was recorded in France with Bahamas' Afie Jurvanen and Robbie Lackritz, who has worked on albums with Bahamas, Feist, Zeus and Jason Collett.

Stay tuned for more details on the forthcoming release. In the meantime, relive the Weather Station's performance on Exclaim! TV below.
