Nathan Williams's public image may be that of a perma-fried slacker, but the dude still manages to be insanely prolific. Not only did he release an album with his band Wavves earlier this year, but he dropped a trio of instrumental beat tapes with his electronic vehicle Sweet Valley in the second half of last year. Now, he's returned to that side-project for another digital album, simply titled SV.
As you may remember, Sweet Valley is Williams's collaboration with his brother, Kynan. Like the duo's past releases, the new tape is made up of sample-heavy instrumental tracks that sport a patchwork of hip-hop-inspired rhythms, atmospheric textures and retro videogame sonics.
The 12-track collection is available to stream below. It's unclear if the album will get an official release, or if it's another digital-only mixtape.
