Watch Paul McCartney, Lizzo, Billie Joe Armstrong, Eddie Vedder and More Perform for "One World: Together at Home"

Last night marked the premiere of the worldwide COVID-19 relief broadcast "One World: Together at Home," a massive multidisciplinary entertainment event, held in celebration of frontline workers and to raise money for the World Health Organization's effort to stop the spread of the virus around the world.

Hosted by Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, Stephen Colbert and curated by Lady Gaga, the Global Citizen event began at 2 p.m. ET yesterday (April 18) and broadcasted for eight hours. According to Rolling Stone, the event raised $127 million for the WHO's coronavirus relief.

The historic live event featured appearances by Paul McCartney, Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder, the Rolling Stones, Sheryl Crow, John Legend, Elton John, Taylor Swift, Coldplay's Chris Martin, Lizzo, Billie Eilish, Kacey Musgraves, Stevie Wonder, Shawn Mendes, Celine Dion, Andrea Bocelli, J Balvin, Camila Cabello, the Killers, Adam Lambert, Christine and the Queens, Ellie Goulding, Kesha, Jack Johnson, Juanes, Rita Ora, Maren Morris, SuperM, Samuel L. Jackson, Jack Black, Don Cheadle, Heidi Klum, Jason Segal, Jennifer Hudson, and more.

Additionally, Oprah Winfrey, Gail King, Lupita Nyong'o, Matthew McConaughey, Idris Elba, Ellen DeGeneres, Jennifer Lopez, and others made appearances during the event.

Global Citizen's CEO Hugh Evans said of the special, "As we honour and support the heroic efforts of community health workers, One World: Together at Home aims to serve as a source of unity and encouragement in the global fight to end COVID-19. Through music, entertainment and impact, the global live-cast will celebrate those who risk their own health to safeguard everyone else's."
