Viet Cong's upcoming self-titled LP is one of Exclaim!'s most-anticipated albums of 2015, and now the Calgary band have given another taste of what's in store by sharing the track "Silhouettes."
The track has an angular, post-punk surge that will remind listeners that half of Viet Cong's lineup used to be in Women. That being said, the reverb-soaked vocals, dreamy string synths and one-note piano plinks add a new sense of spaciousness.
Hear it below [via The Fader]. Viet Cong will be out on January 20 through Flemish Eye/Jagjaguwar. The band have some Canadian shows on their tour schedule.
