The Vaselines Announce North American Tour with Canadian Dates in Vancouver, Montreal, Toronto

Published Jul 14, 2010

With their first new studio album in 20 years scheduled to be released on September 14, Glasgow's the Vaselines have been getting back into the swing of things by touring extensively this past year. To get the public even more excited for their upcoming Sub Pop release, Sex with an X, they've added a slew of North American dates to their fall tour in support of the new record.

Along with several U.S. stops, the tour will feature a trio of Canadian shows in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal. And considering the positive reception their reunion dates have been receiving, we're more than a little excited about the shows.

Sex With An X is the follow-up to their 1990 debut album, Dum-Dum and comes after the rockers Eugene Kelly and Frances McKee reformed the Vaselines in 2008. You can download the first single from Sex With An X, "I Hate the '80s," below.
