Dadweed have announced they have a new EP on the way this September 1 via Kingfisher Bluez. The new release, titled Mighty, Always, is a tight five tracks in length. You can hear the first single "I'm Gonna Live Forever" by scrolling down below.
Frontman James Frost had this to say about the new EP:
Where our previous effort, (I Dreamt I Was Running) centred thematically around topics of depression, struggle and anxiety, Mighty, Always serves as an answer to those questions left unanswered. Lyrically the album expresses a new found positivity built within ourselves, and a choice made to maintain that positivity, fabricated or not, in an effort to retain and repair past relationships damaged by mental health struggles in the past.
Alongside the EP announcement, the band have also plotted a North American tour, making several stops in the States during the month of September, before returning to their hometown of Vancouver, BC on September 28 for their only Canadian date.
