As part of NXNE's Port Lands programming this year, Tyler, the Creator was set to headline the waterfront portion of the festival alongside Passion Pit and Post Malone. Now, the rapper has dropped off the bill due to what the festival calls "circumstances beyond our control."

Organizers have announced that Tyler will be replaced by Montreal-based producer Kaytranada. He'll join a lineup that already features Bleachers, Tinie Tempah, Sleigh Bells, Talib Kweli and the Soul Rebels, Twin Peaks, Cold Specks and more.

"We're thrilled to have such an amazing, exploding artist as Kaytranada to highlight Saturday night at the Port Lands," NXNE president/managing director Michael Hollett said in a statement. "Kaytranada is on a remarkable career trajectory as he takes his place as one of the most important and entertaining DJs in the world."

The Port Lands portion of NXNE takes place from June 23 to 25. The festival is also set to include a Club Land curator series put together by some of Canada's most prominent musical figures.
