Ty Segall just dropped a surprise EP of Harry Nilsson covers titled Segall Smeagol in reference to Nilsson's 1971 record Nilsson Schmilsson.
Segall's six-track record features a number of covers that appear on the Nilsson original, including "Coconuts" and "Gotta Get Up."
"I wanted to cover Nilsson Schmilsson for years," wrote Segall in a statement, "So I used the opportunity of being at home to cover my favorite cuts from the record."
Segall's output hasn't slowed down in quite some time, having released Wasted Shirt's debut album Fungus II earlier this year, as well as releasing two new records and a demo box set in 2019.
