NME.com is reporting that Tokyo Police Club will be completing their highly anticipated debut album today (January 18), actually. The Newmarket-based band will finish mixing the recording and embark on a cross-Canada tour throughout January tomorrow (January 19) into early February. The band have just announced that they will be going south to the U.S. for a full-blast American tour through March and early April. Their yet-to-be-titled album is slated for an early spring release on their own Mean Beard label in Canada, Saddle Creek in the U.S. and Memphis Industries everywhere else.
