Three Days Grace will deliver seventh studio effort Explosions this May, and ahead of its arrival, the Ontario rockers have shared a new single featuring Lukas Rossi.
"Neurotic" first began as a collaboration between the Rockstar Supernova vocalist and Three Days Grace drummer/vocalist Neil Sanderson, which the pair released last year as King City. Now, for its inclusion on Explosions, the arena rock readiness has been dialled up accordingly.
You can compare and contrast the two versions below.
"We added a Three Days Grace spin to it," lead vocalist Matt Walst shared in a statement. Sanderson adds, "Lukas has a great voice, and we match up pretty well. Everything is about tension and release. ["Neurotic"] defines the record."
To speak to that definition, the recently revealed tracklist for Explosions includes songs titled "So Called Life," "I Am the Weapon," "Chain of Abuse" and "No Tomorrow," but it also features more hopeful titles like "Redemption," "Champion" and "Someone to Talk To" — the last of which features heavy Finnish symphonic group Apocalyptica.
Explosions follows Three Days Grace's 2018 LP Outsider.
