The National Are Selling Their Very Own "New Order T-Shirt" New Order T-Shirt

It was made in collaboration with the iconic new wave band

Today, the National shared their new single "New Order T-Shirt." In a perfect piece of b(r)and synergy, the group have partnered with New Order for their very own "New Order T-Shirt" T-shirt.

Over at the band's webstore, the New Order tee is available in black or white, with a design that simply says the name of the song. The typeface is modelled after New Order's 1987 compilation Substance (an album cover that, perhaps not coincidentally, has been available as its own T-shirt). The back of the shirt reads, "The National — Brooklyn 1999."

The shirt was created with New Order's cooperation. An announcement from the band reads, "The National have also partnered with New Order on a real, limited-edition New Order T-shirt that pays homage to the Manchester band's iconic album designs, with a portion of the proceeds from the collab going to a charity of their choice."

The T-shirt is available to purchase from the National's website.

The National's album First Two Pages of Frankenstein is out April 28 via 4AD. Hear "New Order T-Shirt" below.
