The Fallers

"Margaret Thatcher" (video)

BY Sarah MurphyPublished May 9, 2017

Toronto indie rockers the Fallers have taken us "Left, Right, and Centre" and up over the last couple years, and now they're taking us on a little trip back through political history with their latest video.

Before it appears on the band's upcoming album Get In, Loser, "Margaret Thatcher" has been given the music video treatment. Intended to "challenge conservative viewpoints," the video stars Toronto drag performer Trevor Gray as the titular Iron Lady as she chugs down a pint of milk at the bar and hits the dance floor.

The clip was directed and edited by Amanda Macchia, cinematography was done by Christina Ienna, choreography was led by Jess Ford and the wardrobe was assembled by Morgan Otto. Scroll past the Fallers' upcoming tour dates to see the whole crew's efforts come together in the clip for "Margaret Thatcher" below.

Tour dates:

05/10 Halifax, NS - Gus' Pub
05/11 Sydney, NS - Governors Pub
05/20 Toronto, ON - The Garrison
