Tennis to Deliver 'Ritual in Repeat' LP, Offer New Track

BY Alex HudsonPublished Jun 3, 2014

Tennis didn't release an album in 2013, although they did issue their Small Sound EP in the fall. Now, the indie pop sweethearts have returned with another full-length. Ritual in Repeat will be out on September 9 through Communion.

The album was produced in part by Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney, who also helmed 2012's Young & Old. Other producers on Ritual in Repeat include Jim Eno of Spoon and Richard Swift (who previously produced Small Sound).

The 11-song tracklist is below. Scroll past that to hear "Never Work for Free," which takes a bouncily upbeat approach to soft rock (and recalls HAIM's update on classic Fleetwood Mac).

Note that the album includes "Timothy" from Small Sound.

Ritual in Repeat:

1. Night Vision

2. Never Work for Free

3. Needle and a Knife

4. I'm Callin'

5. Bad Girls

6. Timothy

7. Viv Without the N

8. Wounded Heart

9. This Isn't My Song

10. Solar on the Rise

11. Meter & Line
