Swingin' Utters

Live In A Dive

BY Sam SutherlandPublished Aug 1, 2004

If gutter punks truly belong in the gutter, then a dive is probably the best place to find the Swingin'Utters. Though they only just got back in the horse with their last record after a few lacklustre efforts, this performance offers only the best in the band's catalogue. Led by the strained but powerful vocals of Johnny Bonnel, the band blasts through a total of 23 songs, doubtlessly pleasing the crowd and creating a strong testament to their skill and pure endurance as a live band. Without much variation from the wonderfully simple punk rock sound they're known for, the Swingin'Utters have given their fans exactly what they have come to love and expect.
