Slipknot's Corey Taylor Announces Debut Solo Album

Hear "Black Eyes Blues" and "CMFT Must Be Stopped" from 'CMFT'

Between working with Slipknot and Stone Sour, metal workhorse Corey Taylor has found time to prepare his first-ever solo album.

The record is called CMFT, and it's due out on October 2 through Roadrunner

Some of the songs included on the LP date back to Taylor's teens, and the record includes numerous genre experiments. That's already demonstrated on the first two singles — "Black Eyes Blues" is a pop-rock tune, while "CMFT Must Be Stopped" is straight-up rap-rock.

Check out both singles below. In addition to featuring Tech N9ne and Kid Bookie on the track, the video for "CMFT Must Be Stopped" includes appearances from Metallica's Lars Ulrich, Marilyn Manson, Anthrax's Scott Ian and Judas Priest's Rob Halford, among others.
