Last year, insanely prolific Vancouver noise punk trio Shearing Pinx delivered two freaky full-lengths, Night Danger and Rituals, but kept relatively mum on the promotional grind. The band will make up for lost time this summer, though, when they head out on a lengthy Canadaian trip.
The act kicks off the trip one province over from home at Calgary's Slug Mansion on May 23 and will head out deep into the Maritimes before making their way back to Cowtown for a tour capper at Local 510 on June 17. Sorry, BC, you miss out on the Pinx this time around.
Vancouver will still be repped hard on the trip, though, with fellow Lotusland lo-fi punks Random Cuts opening most dates. You can see the schedule down below.
Shearing Pinx have yet to follow up their 2011 output, but there's no doubt some sort of CD-R, cassette or vinyl release full of the band's free-noise explosions lined up sometime in the future.
