Shearing Pinx Tour North America

It seems Vancouver’s weird punk heroes Shearing Pinx have taken a break from releasing a ridiculous amount of music and promoting Fake Jazz Wednesdays at the Cobalt long enough to book themselves a tour. And what a tour they’ve booked.

Kicking off at Vancouver’s Biltmore on September 11 with Old Time Relijun, the band will spend over a month traveling through the States before emerging in Eastern Canada at the start of October for a show with Chinese Stars in Quebec City. From there, they’ll head westward, playing the major and not-so-major Canadian stops before winding the whole thing down in Nelson on October 15.

It’s a lot of ground to cover in a little over 30 days but a band that have released as many records as they have can likely accomplish anything. If you want to help turn one of those TBAs into a real life show, the band can be reached via their MySpace page.
