Montreal-via-PEI songwriter, producer and multidisciplinary artist Russell Louder is back with plans for their sophomore album Fair-weather, the follow-up to 2021's Humor. It will arrive on September 29 via Lisbon Lux Records.

After releasing new singles "Going Under," "Movie Queen," "Come Around" and "Mirror" earlier this year, the artist has unveiled the nine-track album's full tracklist, which will tread the genres of synth-pop and "desert noir"-tinged folk rock, borrowing from the sonic oeuvres of Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus, Laurie Anderson and Peter Gabriel.

The record further is said to find Louder "exploring the many conditions that comprise patience, support, and compassion when circumstances take a downturn, looking inward to examine the universal and all-too-familiar realization of desiring what's deserved but that isn't offered, and surrendering in order to rebuild."

Revisit "Going Under" below, where you can also find the album's tracklist.
