After giving listeners a taste of what's to come from his upcoming solo LP Layers with first single "Tabernacle," Royce Da 5'9" has unveiled a video for the introspective album cut.
With his son playing a younger version of himself, the visuals depict Royce's career path up until the moment he calls "calls the most significant day of his life," on which he met Eminem found out his grandmother was in a fatal car accident and that his girlfriend was in labour with his first son.
"I learned a lot this day," he shares at the track's end. "I learned that the universe has this way of balancing itself out. I learned that God is real."
Layers arrives on April 15 through Royce's own Bad Half Entertainment. Watch the video for "Tabernacle" and a clip of behind-the-scenes footage in the players below.
