Ontario's Riverfest Elora keeps on getting bigger, and the event's seventh year looks to be no exception, as the organizers have announced an impressive lineup of acts that will be performing at Elora's Bissell Park from August 14 to 16.
The 2015 edition of the festival will include Shad, Sam Roberts Band, Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, Sarah Harmer, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, the Meligrove Band, Alan Doyle (of Great Big Sea), and the River and the Road.
This isn't the full lineup, mind you. The rest of the artists will be announced on April 13. In the meantime, three-day weekend passes are available here for $163.85 (that's $140 for a ticket plus taxes and charges). This year's celebration has expanded from prior two-day editions of the event.
The organizers are running the festival in the memory of local artist Marilyn Koop, who founded Riverfest Elora in 2009 and passed away in 2012.
