Raz Fresco

"Up North" (video)

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Jul 3, 2015

Toronto rapper Raz Fresco last paid video homage to his hometown with the video for "Screwface City," but now the MC is back with another new clip showcasing the streets where he grew up.

"Up North" comes from Fresco's recently dropped album Pablo Frescobar and the smooth beat and fiery verses get paired with some more visuals from the 6. We see the young rapper traipsing through Kensington Market sporting the official uniform of a Torontonian: a Raptors touque on your head and a Patty King patty in your hand.

Later, he hops on a streetcar and heads north, looking down at the skyline from a park at the top of the town. Take a look at the city through Raz Fresco's eyes in the clip for "Up North" in the player below.

Pablo Frescobar is out now via Black Light/Duck Down Music.
