PUP are putting finishing touches on their upcoming third LP, but as fans continue to wait for details about the new album, frontman Stefan Babcock has found another creative outlet.
He's shared an original comic strip detailing an unfortunate run-in with a cactus that happened during a hike while PUP were on tour with Jeff Rosenstock.
Babcock takes readers along on an adventure through the Palo Duro Canyon in Texas, recounting the time he fell into a cactus. The needles caused his hands to swell up, and as a result, the band's next show didn't go to smoothly (as pointed out by his Raptors jersey-wearing bandmate Steve Sladkowski).
Rosenstock may not have been keen to take Babcock up on any future hiking adventures, but the PUP singer did end the comic strip by teasing an upcoming tale of "another time a cactus attacked me."
We'll see if he actually follows through with Cactuses: Part Two, but for now, check out the hand-drawn first instalment below.
