Buzz is building behind Ontario indie rock two-piece PS I Love You's For Those Who Stay album, and the pair are drumming up even more hype with a new remix EP for the title track.
The four-song set packages the smooth, flanger pedal-blaring original with redos from the likes of BC soundscaper Teen Daze, Young Galaxy and Princess Century. Teen Daze's rework plays like a tropical house jam, with festive conga hits and a steady four-on-the-floor handling the rhythms beneath a cloudy bed of keyboards. Young Galaxy pepper the track with massive claps and cruise ship disco blips, while Princess Century (a.k.a. Austra's Maya Postepski) gives up a regal remix spotlighting six-string sounds akin to the plaintive moan of the loneliest blue whale.
