Pottery blasted through their set of psych-tinged rock as l'Esco got more and more packed. The Montreal five-piece built up layers of fuzzy, distorted goodness as they kick up the energy in the room.

A little Thee Oh Sees, a little punk rock, they let their guitars do the talking. They've been a band for a little over a year, but for now you can only hear them live. They have a T-shirt, they exclaim, but we may have to fight over it.

They fed off the energy from the crowd as they buzzed from one song to the next, as we danced and banged our heads along to their psychedelic rockout.
