Montreal psych rockers Population II have announced that their sophomore album, Électrons libres du québec, will arrive through their new label home, Bonsound, on October 6.

It's the follow-up to 2020's À la Ô Terre, which arrived through Castle Face Records after the band were discovered by John Dwyer of the Osees. Produced by Emmanuel Éthier, it will mark the 100th record released by Bonsound.

Having previewed the record with lead single "Beau baptême" back in May, the band are holding off on sharing any new singles from the record for now. That said, they have revealed the album's tracklist and cover art (above).

Revisit the video for "Beau baptême" below, where you can also see the album details and Population II's upcoming tour dates with Osees, Yoo Doo Right and Motherhood.
