Matt Cameron — former Soundgarden member and current Pearl Jam drummer — has shared a new solo single today, a track titled "Down the Middle."
The song credits the Melvins' Buzz Osborne on guitar, as well as Steven McDonald on bass. So far, Cameron has confirmed plans for a new record in a post on his Instagram earlier this month, mentioning the aforementioned Melvins, Dale Crover, Toshi Kasai, Taylor Hawkins and more as contributors. The record's title and release date have yet to be announced.
Cameron's last solo record was his 2017 debut, Cavedweller. Cameron and Pearl Jam just released their 11th full-length album Gigaton.
Cameron's new single arrives accompanied by a Josh Graham-created lyric video, which can be seen below.
