Peaches has delivered a new cover of T. Rex's "Solid Gold, Easy Action" as a part of a massive, star-studded tribute to the music of Marc Bolan.
AngelHeaded Hipster: The Songs of Marc Bolan and T.Rex is made up of 26 tracks spanning Bolan's entire career. The collection was put together by Hal Willner, who passed away earlier this year at age 64. The compilation was his final production.
"Hal and I always wanted to work on music together and when this came up, Hal was hellbound on getting me involved," Peaces said of working with Willner. "I'm grateful to have had this time with Hal and that's mainly why this track means so much to me."
AngelHeaded Hipster is available for pre-order now. The record arrives on September 4 via BMG.
