The Pack A.D.

Vancouver-based garage rock duo the Pack A.D. filled the venue with noise surprisingly well when it came their turn for a set at the Indies. Launching into the infectious "Haunt You" from last year's Unpersons LP to kick off their short set, these ladies delivered hard-hitting, fuzzed-out rock. Becky Black and Maya Miller have developed a bit of a reputation for their stage presence, but they weren't given a whole lot of time to win over the audience with their personalities during the awards show. Nevertheless, the Pack A.D. churned out short and sweet blues-fuelled rock, while onlookers stomped along to one of the loudest sets of the night.
