Gratis shows are often judged by different standards, though K-os's free gig didn't need lowered expectations. With a tight five-piece band and plenty of dry ice, the charismatic rapper/singer ran through a range of ebullient tracks from his diverse canon, singing his own hooks and symbiotically fusing his conscious lyrics to the musical backdrop. "Crabbuckit" and "Sunday Morning" were towering; however, it was closer "I Wish I Knew Natalie Portman" and its hip-hop harmonies - care of guest, Saukrates - that put an exclamation mark on the show.
