All the Barbz who've been waiting five years for a new Nicki Minaj album will unfortunately have to wait a little while longer. Her long-awaited fifth studio LP Pink Friday 2 was initially slated to arrive in this month, but she's now pushed the release to December 8.

She broke the news in a livestream on Instagram last night, explaining to fans that she wanted the project's release date to have significance to her.

"The new album date for this incredible body of work that I'm so proud of is on a very special day to me and to the Barbz," she said. "Pink Friday 2, I'm so happy to announce, will be out on my birthday, December 8."

It's not the first time the album has been delayed, with the original October 20 release date first getting rescheduled to November 17 before last night's announcement.

In the meantime, the Queen Barb has graciously elected to appease her Barb subjects with a remix of Drake and Chief Keef's "All the Parties" from For All the Dogs. Although the new track, titled "For All the Barbz," likely won't appear on Pink Friday 2, it's a good appetizer. Check it out below.
