TOPS Are Ready to "Party Again" with a North American Tour

And they're setting the tone with a new single

BY Megan LaPierrePublished Jul 21, 2021

TOPS are shimmering their way back to life on the road, led by the thesis statement of a brand new single called "Party Again." The four-piece will tour North America this October and November, including Canadian stops in Toronto, Vancouver and their hometown of Montreal.

In October, the run kicks off in Palm Springs and then TOPS will wrap up the 29-show stretch in Los Angeles midway through November. They will perform at Montreal's Théatre Rialto on November 3, then Lee's Palace in Toronto on November 4, before hitting Vancouver's Imperial Theatre on November 11.

Tickets go on sale this Friday (July 23) here, and you can see the full schedule below.

The hopeful, buoyant gleam of new single "Party Again" is the perfect way to usher in the tour news. The song follows the group's fourth record, 2020's I Feel Alive.

Of the track, TOPS said in a statement:

Last spring when all our tours got cancelled, most of us ended up in Montreal and we spent the summer writing and recording some new songs. The song we're sharing today — "Party Again"— seemed too appropriate to not use it to announce our rescheduled dates. The song is about missing someone that you only see when you go out.

Thankfully, the time for partying again seems nigh.
