Montreal's Suoni Per Il Popolo is returning to action in its home city this month, and organizers have detailed over 40 live shows, book launches, theatrical performances and more that make up this year's edition.
Running from June 3 to 29, Suoni Per Il Popolo's 2022 edition takes place across Montreal venues including Casa Del Popolo, La Sala Rossa, La Sotterenea, Centre Phi, Le Chateau, Entrepot 77 and 183 Chemin Bates.
Artists set to take part in this year's edition include Circuit des Yeux, New Chance, Seulement, Secondsight, Mas Aya, JOYFULTALK, Cola, Kee Avil, R.A.P. Ferreira, Angel Bat Dawid, Jana Rush, Jessica Moss, Freelove Fenner, Yoo Doo Right, Thus Owls, Sick Boss, the Besnard Lakes and many more.
If you're unable to join in person, the festival will continue live-streaming a generous portion of this year's programming, with viewers able to tune in via Facebook, Vimeo, YouTube and via the festival website.
Last year, Suoni Per Il Popolo partnered with presenters in Toronto, the US, Mexico, Europe and Africa, and they'll once more feature programming outside their home city, albeit a little closer to home. On June 25, the festival will take things to Wakefield, QC, for SUONI X WXFLD, a day of performances by Esmerine, Willy Mitchell, Nadah El Shazly, and Eliza Kavtion at the Fairbairn House, a 160-year-old farm property bordering the Gatineau river.
Complete programming, live streaming and festival information can be found via Suoni Per Il Popolo's official website.
