Back in June of this year, Melody Prochet cancelled a run of tour dates as Melody's Echo Chamber after a "serious accident." While further specifics were never revealed, Prochet has now issued an update following the incident.
In a Facebook post, the French musician posted a photo with the caption, "Dear friends, a million Merci for all the support letters and love. Goodness health love and peace of mind to you all." You can find her post below.
Back in June, a statement from Prochet's family made through her Facebook page read, "we are optimistic, but she needs to be in the hospital for a few more months. She is hopeful to be able to play shows again soon."
Prochet announced her new LP as Melody's Echo Chamber, titled Bon Voyage, earlier this year. While it has yet to see release, the announcement comes five years on from her self-titled 2012 LP, produced by Tame Impala's Kevin Parker.
We continue to wish Prochet a speedy recovery.
