Madonna seems to be too busy planning a world tour and potentially returning high art to France to make a movie about her life. The Queen of Pop's biopic that was under development at Universal has come to a halt, Variety reports.
Madge was set to direct the Julia Garner-fronted flick, and had drafted scripts with filmmakers Diablo Cody and Erin Cressida Wilson. Madonna, Universal nor Garner have commented on the film's axing as of publication time.
In lieu of developing her biopic, Madonna is going on a truly massive 40th-anniversary world tour, stopping in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver along the way.
Madonna had previously directed two other films: 2008 dramedy Filth and Wisdom and W.E., a 2011 historical romance about King Edward VIII's abdication from the British throne.
