Personally, when I see the name Luke Bryan, the first thing that comes to mind is that "Country Girl (Shake It for Me)" song, but I don't think that properly betrays the country star and American Idol judge's very dad energy.
Another thing that relentlessly horny track doesn't allow for is the knowledge of Bryan's impressive habit of falling on stage. It seems to happen to most performers every once in a while, but for him, it's a much more frequent part of the ol' song and dance. (Stereogum's Tom Breihan has compiled a compilation of the artist's illustrious physical comedy resumé).
It happened again last night (April 21), when Bryan was performing at Vancouver's BC Place as part of the Coast City Country festival — but it wasn't entirely the performer's fault, since he literally slipped on a fan's phone (which was on the stage for some reason because people don't know how to act at shows anymore) all banana peel-style.
As per, Bryan was good-humoured about the whole thing, getting up and asking if anyone in the audience managed to capture the moment. Of course, several had ("Oh, you're Snapchatting? You can't Snapchat this shit!"), and one fan gave the singer an instant replay from their phone, which he proceeded to play on the jumbotron.
Bryan remarked, "This is viral! I need some viral, alright? This is viral!"
