Lowell's I Killed Sara V. EP will be out a week today (February 25) through Arts & Crafts, and the Toronto songwriter is offering a preview of what's in store by sharing the track "The Bells."
After a short tinkling intro, the singer asks, "Would you give me a beat?" She gets her wish, and the song turns into an easy-going, pretty electronic pop tune. There's a soothing breakdown partway through, and the second half of the tune is heavier and more densely percussive.
Lowell will perform at the Garrison in Toronto on March 2, with more shows and a full-length album expected later in 2014.
