Just over a year on from sharing his plans to enter the world of fiction writing, Logic has lifted the curtain on his debut novel Supermarket.

The novel, which credits the rapper as Bobby Hall (born Sir Robert Bryson Hall II), is set to be released March 26 through Simon & Schuster. The book is described as a "darkly funny psychological thriller" that is "a gripping exploration into madness and creativity."

Supermarket is available for pre-order here. The vinyl is available from Umusic.

A synopsis for the book reads as follows:

Flynn is stuck — depressed, recently dumped, and living at his mom's house. The supermarket was supposed to change all that. An ordinary job, routine hours, a steady check. Work isn't work when it's saving you from yourself. But things aren't quite as they seem in these aisles.

Arriving to work one day to a crime scene, Flynn's world begins to crumble as the secrets of his tortured mind are revealed. And Flynn doesn't want to go looking for answers at the supermarket, because something there seems to be looking for him.

A darkly funny psychological thriller, Supermarket is a gripping exploration into madness and creativity. Who knew you could find sex, drugs, and murder all in aisle nine?

As previously reported, Supermarket will also come accompanied by a soundtrack, which features a song produced by Mac DeMarco. Further details on the accompanying audio have yet to be revealed.

Last year, Logic released Bobby Tarantino II and YSIV.
