Like Pacific Ink Deal with New Damage for New EP

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Dec 11, 2014

Punk label New Damage Records is beefing up the CanCon side of their roster again, having announced its latest signees are Toronto outfit Like Pacific. The project's first release through the imprint will be a self-titled EP, due January 20.

The act's upcoming five-song effort will be delivered domestically through New Damage on CD, 12-inch and digitally, while Pure Noise will handle the release in the rest of the world.

The record is the third EP from Like Pacific since the outfit formed in 2010. Self-described as "five dudes with a common love for fast, hard-hitting and melodic music," their debut effort The Worst... arrived in 2011, with the EP Homebound having followed in 2012.

While Like Pacific's street date is a month off, the band report that they'll soon be hitting the recording studio to track a full-length release. Few details exist beyond that, but the album is expected to arrive in late 2015.
