Land of Talk

The latest signings to the revered East coast Dependent Records, home to Holy Fuck and Wintersleep, made their first appearance and demonstrated what bloggers everywhere have been geeking out about. The Montreal three-piece stormed through their EP, Applause Cheer Boo Hiss, with highlights being the ferocious "Seafoam,” high-fives after a barn-burning "Speak to Me Bones” and the shout outs to bassist Chris McCarron’s dad, who made the two-and-a-half-hour trip from Moncton to see a band that could easily be selling out the venue in the near future.
