Chicago pop-punk stalwarts Knuckle Puck have revealed that their forthcoming album Losing What We Love will arrive on October 20 via Pure Noise Records

It's been three years since the quintet shared their third LP, the aptly-named 20/20, and frontman Nick Casasanto promises that the new project will ditch the optimism of the past across its 11 tracks.

"For a long time, we felt a responsibility to have this overwhelming hopefulness to our lyrics," he says. "This time around, we started writing more honestly with less intent to sound cool or hopeful. It feels like we're in a bit of a losing battle with the state of the world, but in the past we'd say, 'Oh, but it's all OK!' Now we're saying, 'No, we should be panicking.' This record feels like more of an expression than a motivational speech."

Knuckle Puck have also previewed the album by pairing the announcement with the release of its lead single "The Tower" and an accompanying music video.

Their 2022 single "Groundhog Day," released a year to the day prior to Losing What We Love's release date, will also feature on the project.
