If you'd like to see the Klaxons play live, then you'd better make plans to be in Europe, Japan or Mexico in the upcoming months, since the British band have announced that their upcoming tour will be their last.
They made the big reveal on their social media accounts today (October 24), explaining that this will be the list time they ever head out on a headline tour.
The Klaxons have been around since 2005, rising to prominence as part of the electronically inclined new rave movement. They released three albums, most recently this year's Love Frequency.
Of course, it's not entirely clear from the band's message whether they will be breaking up, or if this is simply the end of their phase as a touring band. It's always possible that they will continue to record and/or play festivals, but based on the evidence we're seeing here, it doesn't look promising.
